Sex is an art but Sweden recognizes sex as a sport. Sweden is preparing to make history by organizing the first European Sex Championship on June 8.

Swedish Sex Federation’s auspices organizes this championship. Reports say the competition will last for several weeks. Participants compete for six hours a day. Each of the 16 different competitions will last 45 minutes to one hour. Anyone from European country is eligible to compete for this three phase championship. 70 percent audience and 30 percent jury vote determines the winner.

Report says 20 people have registered so far for the competition which will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden. Dragan Bratych, president of the Swedish Sex Federation, says turning sex into a sport is essential. Pleasure plays a crucial role in this sport. A positive audience reaction directly affects the score. Creativity, intense emotions, imagination, physical fitness, endurance, and performance are all need for sex as a sport.

From Bedroom to the Arena: Sex as a Competitive Sport

The fact that the northern European nation is to host the first-ever European Sex Championship may further surprise many Indians. Seduction, body massage, erotic zone exploration, prelude, oral sex, penetration, endurance, physical appearance, pose execution, creative position changes, endurance and number of orgasms in a set amount of time are some of the disciplines at the European Sex Championship.

In each discipline, participants can score between 5 and 10 points, as determined by public voting and a panel of five judges. To progress through each level of the tournament, participants must achieve a specific number of points.
